I wanted to share something very special with you.

First, I’m grateful to the Blue Lava team – our customers, advisors, investors, and community for the focus and dedicated hard work over the years. Since the beginning, we have always worked on building the company, our platform, and community with, by, and for you, the Security Leader. We set out to build the industry’s first business application for security leaders to measure, optimize, and communicate their security program.

Our mission is to help CISOs work strategically with other business leaders. We believe that by combining cybersecurity maturity and performance, we’re empowering CISOs and security leaders toward effective holistic security program management.

Today, we have validation that this is exactly what we’ve been successfully doing. I’m proud to announce that Blue Lava has recently been named in Gartner’s 2021 Cyber and IT Risk Management Hype Cycle in two categories:

1. Cybersecurity Maturity Assessments
2. Cybersecurity Performance Management

Blue Lava is first listed in Cybersecurity Performance Management which is positioned in the Innovation Trigger stage and again in Cybersecurity Maturity Assessments, placed in the Slope of Enlightenment stage. Being listed in two categories by Gartner is a particularly meaningful honor for us.

Being recognized as a key vendor for both of these functions underscores the work that Blue Lava is doing to shape new markets AND support established markets.

We will continue to redefine how CISOs and security leaders measure, optimize, and communicate their security programs while speaking in the language of the business.
